In lazy dance of fire
From distant dream appear
Sad voices of denial
I’m not allowed to hear
The nameless stars still smiling
In mesmerising glow
Where in their senseless shining
My blackened rivers flow
See the dead leaves falling
On stones grey
Hear the trumpets calling
So far away
Close the door behind me
In realms forlorn
There’s no sun to blind me
There’s no return
Ready are my horses
For this eternal ride
All the mighty forces
Are on my side
It’s time to shake some ground
My time has come
Following the sound
Of battle drum
Under soft black veil
Of nameless stars sublime
Endless bloody trail
And frozen wheels of time
My blackened rivers waiting
To carry me away
Where the dead leaves falling
On stones grey

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Atmospheric Black Metal from the heart of Siberia. Grima is a band that paints one hell of a picture with their music. Intense shrieking vocals echo behind such awesome instrumentals.
Leaves you feeling the bitter cold winds of a desolate snowscape. Abyssius Murkraken
Joseph Hawker subverts the musical and sociopolitical status quo with a black metal triptych that's as incendiary as it is impressionistic. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 5, 2022
