I had a dream last night
Black shadow over the hillside
Red lightning on the horizon
My legions marching on
Beyond the wall of mountains
The unknown lands covered with snow
In cold embrace of winter
We advanced to conquer them all
Where the sun glare danced
On snow-white peaks
I had a dream last night
Black frozen eyes of a thousand men
Staring up at empty sky
With weapons still in hands
Cold bodies in the snow
Abandoned hopes for glory
Dead silence was the one
Left to tell our story
Where the sun glare danced
On snow-white peaks
Into forever
Like falling rain
We disappeared
Not to rise again
Our footprints vanished
In countless streams
Our voices echoed
In endless thunderstorms
Time will pass
Winds will sing their songs
Across these hills
Over cold white bones
And lonely star
In the night sky glows
Sealing our fate
To where it now belongs

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Atmospheric Black Metal from the heart of Siberia. Grima is a band that paints one hell of a picture with their music. Intense shrieking vocals echo behind such awesome instrumentals.
Leaves you feeling the bitter cold winds of a desolate snowscape. Abyssius Murkraken
Joseph Hawker subverts the musical and sociopolitical status quo with a black metal triptych that's as incendiary as it is impressionistic. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 5, 2022
